First Round:

Heidelberg v. Own It Realty/DO: I’ve been hearing rumblings of a new DO E team.  With the leadership that goes along with DO, I’d assume they can put together a solid enough squad to get through to the 2^nd round.

Winner: Own It realty/DO

All American Sports Bar v. XFactor: X Factor was thought to be a threat in E Softball this year.  They may make a run this weekend.

Winner: X Factor

Avenue Sports Bar v. Bright Horizon Bright horizon made a few solid pickups over the off season and has the potential to be in the top half all tournament.

Winner: Bright Horizon

MI Assasins v. Northwest Pipe: If the Assasins can stay hitting and limit their errors, they have an opportunity to play late Saturday.

Motor City Cocks v. Tanel 360:  This is a tough one but Tanel hasn’t faced a TON of adversity yet, have to go with the Cocks here.

Avenue/Jamboozies v. Represent/Biggamers:  Represent lost a significant bat in their lineup this week but has enough to win this first one.

Cobras v. Repo Monkey:  Repo by a landslide.

Winner: Repo

Agent X v. Irish Swagger:  I’m actually hoping to see Irish Swagger win their first few so that we can see what they do when they only have to play 4 or 5 games a day, rather than 8.

Detroit Basers v. Reloaded:  Basers have a lot of talent and had a good run in Canton without the Big Boys there last week.  They’ll be confident and should ride that into Saturday afternoon.

MC Push/Clark Building v. MushSportz.com: MC Push made it’s way into my top 5 this week because of their abilities.  They lost their best player, but should be ok early. Don’t sleep on MushSportz though they  are sneaky.

Aftermath/Red-Eye v. Trust Sports Softball:  Trust Sports should be confident after their first tournament win of the season last week at Canton.  The true test will be this week, even though it’s still a festival.

Motor City S.W.A.T. v. MRM Mechanical: MRM Mechanical is a new team, don’t know much about them.

Ball Hawgz v. Blazers: Blazers beat RepoMonkey a few weeks ago.  We’ll see if it was a fluke.

Trust Sports/Wicked/Mario v. Own It Realty/DO: Should be one of the interesting match-ups of the weekend.  Expect a loud game and a lot of hard hits.
