D
1. DO: Last week was exactly what they neede confidence wise, now they know they can compete with any team in D, since they beat some of the top D teams this past weekend short handed. Before it is all said DO will be the team to beat in D.
2. Mush Reloaded: I know a lot of people are down playing there 3rd place finish this past weekend and saying that they were more looking forward to the "Boobie Fest" party that was happenning that night. I believe the longer it takes this team to win a tournament, the more chances it has to be like last year's DO team.
3. Drama: Once Drama gets over that hump and beats one of the top teams in D, I think they will be tough to beat the rest of the way out. The Mush/Drama game was very spirited and you definitely can expect to see more of those type of games between the two teams.
4. Perkins: Perkins showed everyone this weekend that they are a contender in D with the huge win over Mush Reloaded. If they would of beat DO in the semi finals they would of been ranked higher this week, since I do believe they would of beaten Trust in the Winner's Finals.
5. Whoever: You can pretty much put any team in the 5th spot, right now there is only 4 good teams in D. Phillies, Sand Baggers, Apex all need to get more consistent. I would like to see this Vickers team play a Michigan tournament to see how they stack up against some Michigan teams as well.
Surprise Team:
Sand Baggers: Great weekend from this team. The won 3 games and competed in every game that they played in. I think they could solidfy that top 5 spot in the upcoming weeks.
FLOP TEAM:
Khaos and D-Nation: No reason that either of these two teams should go 0-2 in this tournament. D-Nation had a huge let down after a great tournament the weekend before and Khaos just never showed up to play this week. Both teams are way better than their showing this past weekend.
E:
1. Trust/Wicked: Two tournament titles in a row it is hard not to say they are the best team in E. They had very good wins over Dooley's and DO in the process. Until someone beats them they are the #1 team in E.
2. Dooley's: Their tournament basically came down to the Trust game and they just didn't show up offensively again. Whoever won that game had a cake walk to Winner's Final and whoever lost that game was going 1-2 with Mush Reloaded losing early. Just a bad draw for the Dooley guys.
3. Trust Sports Softball: Adding Andy Haidy and Mike Bednerchek to their team definitely will make them a better team. They got rid of two guys who were consistently rumored leaving. I don't know who the other suppposedly 3 pick ups are, but if they got any offense in those pick ups they become a consistent top 5 team.
4. Push: They fall behind the JV team on this week's rankings because they lost their best offensive player to a team they got mercied to a few weeks ago and just beat by one a week ago. They were already struggling to score runs this definitely won't help them out at all.
5. Repo Monkey: They are definitely not as bad as their showing last week, I don't know if they are as good as their showing the week prior either. My gut is saying that this team will look completely different by July 1st for one reason or another.
Surprise Team:
Bright Horizon and Mush Sportz: Both teams had a great showing last weekend and I think both are going to be a player in E this year unlike years past.
FLOP Team:
Venom: They should of went to Novi and played some teams closer to the talent level than trying to compete in a D/E tournament. This team just isn't very good right now.
